Gist We Hear:Chris Brown Seen Dancing On Table To Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’

Chris Brown was allegedly spotted dancing on a table in a club when he heard his ex-girlfriend Rihanna’s single ‘We Found Love.’
Brown was said to have  attended a party at the Greystone Manor in West Hollywood earlier this week, where Rihanna also spent the night. Tho the Ex-lovers ignored each other, Chris reportedly paid full attention when ‘We Found Love’ came on in another club a few nights before.
An onlooker told People magazine that he was in a “great mood” and jumped on a table as soon as the song came on.

CELEBRITY NEWS: Rihanna Launching Fashion TV Show

Rihanna is set to make her reality television debut.

The superstar will executive produce – and make appearances on – a new Sky Living HD series in the UK that looks to discover new fashion designers.

The as-yet untitled show will air over the course of 10 weeks this summer.



Nicola Roberts (of Girls Aloud) will be the program’s host.

Rihanna will be involved in the show’s casting and production, but she’s also expected to have an on-camera presence.

Competing designers will be challenged to create outfits for various musicians and celebrities, according to the Sky announcement.

The winner will have the chance to design Rihanna’s stage outfit for a London concert in July.


“I’ve always had a great love of fashion. It’s a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I’ve grown into the person and artist I am today,” said Rihanna in a statement about the show.

She added, “I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show.”

Celebrity News: Lindsay Lohan Sued for Allegedly Hitting Woman With a Maserati

Even when Lindsay Lohan is staying out of trouble, trouble seems to find her.

A lawsuit was filed against the starlet today by a woman who claims Lohan hit her while driving through what used to be Lohan's West Hollywood neighborhood.

Roughly 17 months ago, for the record

"To the best of my knowledge, neither Lindsay nor her attorneys have been served with a lawsuit," rep Steven Honig says. "So we really can't comment on something that hasn't been served through the proper channels."

But, he added, "People like to do this—give lawsuits to the media before they serve it to Lindsay."

Well, in the lawsuit, plaintiff Nubia Del Carmen Plaza charges that Lohan was driving a rented Maserati GranTurismo when she ran into her at the intersection of Alta Loma Road and Holloway Drive in WeHo while she was crossing the street.

Plaza is demanding unspecified damages to cover "serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish"; past and future medical expenses; and loss of wages and future earning potential due to her inability to perform her usual occupation.

Black & White Car Rental is also named as a defendant. A case management conference is scheduled for May 14 at 8:30 a.m.

Poor LiLo, people need to leave her alone though!

Celebrity News: Justin Bieber Helps Boost Organ Donor Registrations in Ontario

Justin Bieber knows how to make things happen (it is his world, after all).

The charitable singer answered the tweeted plea of a fan with action, after the Belieber asked the "Baby" crooner to spread the word about organ and blood donation to his Twitter followers.

Helene Campbell, who tweeted Bieber from the handle @alungstory last week, wrote, "Hey @justinbieber! I BELIEB you should use that Canadian voice of yours and help save lives like mine #beanorgandonor beadonor.ca #giveblood".

Bieber quickly followed suit, responding to the young woman (who is awaiting a lung transplant herself), "i got the word....you have amazing strength. i got u. #BeAnOrganDonor."

And that wasn't all.

The Biebs followed that with "help spread the word for @alungstory http://www.alungstory.ca/ #BeAnOrganDonor" and "and @alungstory NEVER SAY NEVER".

After Campbell thanked the pop singer for making such a "huge impact" with his tweet, Bieber responded, "glad to be able to help. best part of what i do."

And it turned out to be a very huge impact indeed.

Following Campbell and Bieber's tweetfest, the Ontario-based Trillium Gift of Life Network saw donations rise to 1,200 people, more than four times the amount the network usually receives, according to MTV.

"Helene Campbell is very courageous," Ronnie Gavsie, President and CEO of the organization told E! News. "She has done an incredible job inspiring and motivating Ontarians to register their consent to organ and tissue donation. On an average day we would expect about 50 new online registrations. Since Helene's campaign began last Thursday, the average has been closer to 200 per day!

"There are over 1500 people in Ontario waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant. On behalf of all them and Trillium Gift of Life Network, thank you Helene and thank you Justin Bieber! In Ontario, if you have a signed donor card, you still need to register. Visit www.BeADonor.ca to register or check to be sure you are indeed a registered donor."

Fashionista and new model in the making, Solange Knowles who was just signed as a NEXT Model graces the pages of the February issue of In Style Magazine. Besides showing off her dope style in a 6 page spread, she also dishes on how she plans to pay back Beyonce for spoiling her son rotten.

This may sound awful, but I’m excited to let the baby do whatever it wants, in the same way my sister’s done with my son. I’m going to get her back for all those late-night popcorn sessions and just spoiling my child to no end.

Image seems to be everything; we are so concerned with perfection even when it’s simply an illusion. Don’t you think it a problem when people are willing to do unspeakable things for what a new bag or perhaps some new shoes? Don’t you think that is the definition of a flawed society? We are imperfect individuals obviously but when it becomes a pageantry of replicas for the sake of fitting in then it’s a problem.

 

Everyone wants to shine but who says we can’t shine on a budget? Why can’t we have a bag that cost £50 and be just okay with it why spend N50, 000 on a replica? My mum had a saying growing up “Be content with what you have” and I guess it has stuck with me ever since.

 

Competition seems to be the spice of life, don’t get me wrong, competition is healthy but when all you want to do is compete for material objects, check the lengths your willing to go to get it, and ask yourself is it even worth the trouble? Trends change, fashionable items get old, would you still like the person in the mirror after you have that £1,400 LV alma MM.

 

Louis Vuitton has been replicated to a point I’m embarrassed to carry my bags out. I would rather carry my speedy 30 in Damier Azur (£450) that I got at 16, that is worn out than carry my Alma GM Vernis ($$$$) In Amarante or my Alma MM Gold Miroir, because the amount of replicas in Nigeria is ridiculous. I’m a bag fiend if I see a bag in Aldo for £35 and I like it I will buy it same way as if I see a bag in Dior for £2400 I will save up meticulously and buy it. Why don’t we have that attitude is following the trend at any cost worth it?

 

Isn’t the saying QUALITY over QUANTITY, I get the spoilt brat tag a lot perhaps because I spend ridiculous amounts on bags but the truth is my parents don’t believe in squandering money, If you want it earn it. Why can’t we have fabulousity on a budget? I live on a budget. I love ASOS, New Look, and Dorothy Perkins. Primark, Topshop as much as I love Karen Millen, Selfridges, Debenhams and House of Fraser. It’s all about choice.  Mix and match and have fun.  Why not be an original you than a replica of someone else.  But a luxury leather tote, which has no label but looks gorgeous, if you need a label. DKNY is doing fabulous pieces without monogram.

 

Or do like me save up Speedy 30 - £450, the move on to perhaps a Neverfull GM which comes in (Monogram, Ebene and Azur) - £510.  Gucci a Boston starts at about £385 and Gucci even goes on sale. Save up instead of getting 3 replicas get one original on. Opinions are like assholes everyone has one. This just happens to me mine.

 

I’ve heard of the fake Louboutin craze I can’t comment on it because I’m not a shoe girl (Blasphemy they yell) but it’s true. But Aldo works, so does office,  Topshop and Dorothy Perkins alongside New Look have a phenomenal range. I also really enjoy Kurt Geiger and Carvella as much as I love a bargain from Primark.

I have seen so many fake Alma MM’s and Damier Ebene Trevi’s than I ever want to. I should also point out that the Artsy never came in Damier Azur only in Monogram GM and MM and Empreinte. The Ponte –Neuf that is another story entirely.

 

Also Alma was never made in a lot of colors I should add.  The colors I’m sure they released are Blue Galactic, Orange Sunset, Green Tonic, Violette, Pomme d Amour, Amarante, Bleu Nuit, Rouge Fauviste, Bleu Infinite, Blanc Corail, Gris Art Deco, Rose Florentin, Terre D Ombre, Vert Impression, Bleu Infinite recently they’ve added the Givre.

 

Truth is most colours have been discontinued except “ Amarante, Rouge Fauviste, Blanc Corail, Bleu Infinite, Terre D’Ombre, pomme d’ amour if I’m not mistaken.

.....And here comes the mother of Why We Love .....That Hair . Pepper pays enough to her coif LONG enough for everyone (including myself) to pay attention to it . No matter how simple it seems to look, Pepper has a way of twisting things up , sideways or down - its never the same . I wonder how long she sits to have them braids done ? I'm sure Patra or Ara can take a cue for braid redefinition .
