As a fashion and wardrobe stylist, I have to say I am totally impressed and amused by what I see. Thigh high slits, bold and chunky accessories, colour blocking, a touch of African inspired pieces as seen on runways to the streets of London. Velvet Rouge got me thinking laid back but energized here.
If you are an upcoming stylist, you have to understand that styling requires working in a fast-paced environment involving high stakes - money, time and effort, both physical and mental. If I haven’t scared you off of it yet as a career option, then you’re welcome to view and get inspired by Velvet Rouge Fashion Styling Diaries below;
THE GOTHIC UNDERGROUND SEXY
This styling look was insipired by the grittines, music and dirty alley ways of London town. London streets is very much steep in history and unique which still shows in its streets today.
The fashion styling in this particular story was to bring the gothic, dark and sexy chicness of London underground fashion to life but still mixed with a bit of African tradition by introducing the 'GELE' into the mix of things(picturebelow).
