Events We Attend: Mimi Lee London to Open Lagos Showroom this Saturday!!!

I was opportuned to work with the details Creative Designer, Mimi Hassan last year at the FAB Night Out and I must say the London based designer who is of Nigerian heritage is finally setting up roots in Lagos and opening an island showroom at Lekki Phase Ones Ladipo Omotosho Cole Street off Mobolaji Johnson and Omorinre Johnson Street. With sales territories in Europe and the Middle East, the label is rapidly gaining recognition as a ‘haute’ under the radar label to be seen in.

The label has been widely received by a lot of Nigerian socialites and celebrities like the likes of Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere, Omowunmi Akinnifesi, Waje, Goldie, Jumai Shaba, Stephine Uche, Eku Edewor and Tiwa Savage.

The launch of the Mimi Lee showroom is tipped to get unprecedented press attention with socialite and celebrity clients in attendance and the likes of Fashion TV, Cool FM, E-box, Euphoric Records, FAB Magazine, ALMECA tequila, Travelstart and Bella Naija lined up as sponsors for the launch.

The event is said to be taking place at the showroom venue on the 26th of May in the afternoon, with a red carpet call and all and later on at Auto Lounge for an exclusive guest listed VVIP PARTY. Where guests will be entertained by the likes of NAIJA music sensation DAVIDO, CHUDDY K and moblow and served personalized ‘mimi lee’ cocktails courtesy of drink sponsors Almeca tequila.
