Some time last year I shared with you here that luxury retailer Marni will be collaborating with H&M. Designer collaboration is something certainly not new to H&M from Versace to Lanvin we have seen it all happened in the past. I got excited with Marni purely because of the use of African Prints in their collections, after viewing all the pieces I am not really that excited about it. I certainly would not be buying, I am all for buy Africa we must support our own, some African designers can do better than this!

Although the prices are fairly reasonable, will you be buying any pieces from the Marni for H&M collections?
Items initially selling well were the large circular printed skirts and jackets, the signature plastic jewellery, wooden-heeled sandals and a printed pyjama set.
This collection is selling online and at 250 stores worldwide. H&M has also previously collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld, Comme des Garçons, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin and Matthew Williamson.
